BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

Under the general supervision of the Deputy Chief of Support Services or designee, this position oversees the warehouse and supplies related to Fire Rescue’s logistics operations. This role works closely with the administrative assistant to track inventory and ordering needs. The role is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, receiving, storing, inventorying, and distributing materials and equipment essential to both daily operations and mission-critical needs. This encompasses a wide range of items, including firefighting equipment, hoses, emergency medical supplies, uniforms, protective clothing, office and janitorial supplies, station furnishings, appliances, fitness equipment, and miscellaneous operational items. The position assists with procurement, equipment allocation, and research functions to ensure the efficient and effective use of departmental resources. A key objective is to provide high-quality equipment, services, and supplies to ECFR personnel and facilities in a timely and controlled manner, through the delivery of soft goods and maintenance of supply allotments.
