BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

The Program Manager will lead county-wide Driving While Impaired (DWI) initiatives, ensuring full compliance with all applicable state statutes, rules, and regulations. This role involves providing expert technical guidance and support to local government officials to help prevent, reduce, and evaluate DWI-related incidents across the county. The Program Manager will be responsible for the oversight and administration of the DWI Distribution Grant, Traffic Safety Grant, and DWI Grant Funds, ensuring strict adherence to grant requirements and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, a proven track record in grant administration and program management, and expertise in public speaking and training. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database systems is essential. The Program Manager must be able to operate independently or in teams. Must also be flexible, availability required, including irregular hours and on-call responsibilities (24/7). This position is grant funded and will remain in effect as long as grant funding is available.
