BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

The Custodian Supervisor reports directly to the Assistant Facilities Manager, or to the Facilities Manager in their absence. This is a working supervisor role responsible for assigning tasks, overseeing custodial staff, and performing hands-on cleaning duties to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all Eddy County facilities. The Custodian Supervisor works independently with minimal supervision and is expected to maintain supply inventory, report maintenance needs, and enforce cleaning and safety standards. Clear and consistent communication with supervisory staff is essential to ensure efficient operations and address any issues that arise. The role may require irregular hours, attendance at meetings, and all other duties as assigned. The Custodian Supervisor is also responsible for training new custodial staff on proper procedures, equipment use, and chemical safety. While not authorized for formal discipline, the Supervisor provides coaching, mentoring, and performance support to team members.
